The suite we stayed in was huge, full kitchen, large lounge dining room and two bedrooms plus bathroom. Much more than was need for two people. Although we did use it all except second bedroom over the long weekend stay. Nicely decorated with matching furniture throughout the suite. Bed was comfortable without being exceptional but for the price of this unit I have nothing bad too say about this place. Karuah is a quiet town, close enough to nelson's Bay and tea gardens Barrington tops for day trips. Staff were great with very easy check in. Iga and rsl across the street

This is a 3-star motel and the room and room facilities reflected that. Adequate without being special - comfortable queen bed, complimentary tea/coffee/biscuits, wall mounted smallish TV, free wifi, refrigerator, good hot water, and a/c. Especially appreciated were the basic crockery and cutlery utensils, and a toaster, allowing simple eating (especially breakfast) in the room. Location is excellent - supermarket and liquor store across the road, and the RSL Club (with a bistro serving Asian and Australian meals) about 50 metres away. Highly recommended.

Quaint, quiet, well appointed, comfy beds, fabulous shower heads, all the facilities for a home away from home stay - and clean as a whistle. My 6 year old grandson asked if we could live here! Great location with access to restaurant and general store. Thank you for a very welcome and comfortable stay after a long drive with 3 young children.

For a little motel this is the loveliest I’ve ever stayed in. It’s obviously had a makeover and whoever did it deserves a huge compliment. So clean fresh and bright. Simple but lovely decor. THANKYOU. We’ll be back. PS The local bowlo was fantastic too. Raffles, food, drink excellent and at real old fashioned club prices.

This place is a little gem for those using the pacific highway, as it’s only a short drive away. The motel is quiet, small but cosy and spotlessly clean and has everything you could need. The owners/staff were outstanding too. Communication was excellent. I would definitely stay again
